Our beautiful South African lodge is surrounded by mature riverine vegetation. Leadwood, Knobthorn and Weeping Boerbean trees provide shade in the garden and the building itself is built using a combination of thatch and stone, with many natural materials used throughout.
When you stay with us, the whole house is exclusively for you. Meaning it’s the perfect place for families, adventurous travellers or those who want some privacy and peace. We charge by the room, giving you and your group ultimate exclusivity without the hefty price tag.
This exclusive nature means the trip is all about you. When you stay with us you can laze by the pool, visit Hoedspruit, our local town, or go on a safari with us. At our South African lodge you can do whatever you want, at your pace.
An amazing stay at mpfuvu manor
We stayed at Mpfuvu Manor for a few days – what a magnificent location. Calm and peaceful with a view of the river – it invites you to go and seek out the beautiful animals of the bush. The location is convenient for safaris – you can see some animals really easily – especially hippos! The rooms are well equipped and have all the necessities. Maja and Graham are very welcoming – you really do feel at home. The food is local and homemade as well as delicious – and the portions were more than enough.
I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

So whether you’re relaxing after a day on safari or a day in Hoedspruit, during your stay with us you can enjoy using the; pool, swim bar, outdoor lapa, fire pit and brai area, elevated viewing lounge, kitchen, kitchen lounge, dining area at your leisure.

A perfectly coordinated trip
From the moment of booking to stepping through the door at Mpfuvu Manor, everything was perfectly coordinated.
The team couldn’t do enough for us all and made us more than welcome as well as feel safe in our new surroundings. The food and hospitality was 5*. We chose to go on safari with them and I couldn’t believe how close we got to the animals, I felt safe the whole time and felt our guide had total respect for the animals space and welfare.

Prices start from
R1,400 per person, per night*
Children aged 0 – 2 stay for free
Children aged 2 – 5 R350 per child, per night
Children aged 5 – 10 R700 per child, per night
Age 11 + is standard rate
